Our brothers and sisters are required to be engaged in ministries; each chooses his/her own particular endeavors.

Generally, we serve people who are poor, marginalized, oppressed, alienated, or disadvantaged.

Our ministries are based on the Beatitudes, the spiritual and corporal works of mercy, or the Prayer of Francis of Assisi.

Each member's ministry is affirmed by the entire community in an annual "missioning" ceremony.

We currently have members and associates who are church music directors, diocesan program directors, educators and training administrators, government officials, graduate students, healing ministers, hospital administrators, institutional chaplains, nurses, office workers, organ builders, parish priests and church ministers, psychotherapists, publications editors, religious goods retailers, social workers, utility customer service representatives and volunteers in various service organizations.

Some of our older members are retired from employment or ministry, but remain active in the community.
